This place is really good! Starts off with a fun location in historic old bank building built in 1912... Lots of booths which I love! Super attentive and friendly staff! The pizza looks and tastes like the Neapolitan type because it has a thin base that puffs up on the edges around the sauce and cheese. Its tastes awesome and the crust is like candy. Make sure you have some dressing to dip it in. It would be sacrilegious to leave the crusts on your plate uneaten!! The pastrami sandwich is made with Boar's Head meat and is great. Thin slices, zero fat, and grilled or put into the pizza over to melt everything together. Roll was fantastic too!! Total winner!! Tried the chicken Parm, which is deep-fried, as well as the spaghetti and meat sauce. Pasta was al dente and good. Started with an enormous wedge salad with blue cheese!! Garlic bread also very good!! I will be back here soon!!
Pizza was delicious especially after a long day of walking around the plaza. Got filled up from the single slice cheese for $6.50! Staff was also very helpful and timely!
OMG talk about a hidden gem. Ive been to Claremont to drink and bar hop, we'll one of our friends had the munchies and we need to use the restroom, so we read a sign outside that they sell pizza by the slice. I don't know about you, but for me that's a HUGE plus. I'm very picky with pizza so I don't want to committ to a whole pie without knowing it's good. Anyway, we went in, the men ended up ordering a whole pie Anyway, 2 to be exact. 1 peperoni and the other a Margherita. OMG SO fkn delicious, the cheese so cheesy, the roni's such a nice crisp to them, and the Margherita was so good too. So glad we landed here, I'm definitely coming back. I will say I laughed at the orange slice (sliver) I asked for with my orange wheat. But that's ok. Service is good too, no complaints.
Love the variety of vegetarian toppings got it to go and we had the artichoke hearts. This is the first time I've had a pizza thatwas sauce less but you dip in the marinara sauce - game changer can't wait to try this again! Amazing bread and texture, love it! Might have found my new pizza spot!! If you're near downtown Claremont, check the out!!
Pizza N Such has been a go-to spot for me, but my recent visit was a mixed experience. I was heartbroken to find out that they've removed my favorite pizza--the Eggplant Pesto--from the menu. This pizza was a perfect balance of roasted eggplant, fresh pesto, and a light, crispy crust. It was one of the most unique offerings in town, and its absence definitely leaves a gap. However, when I mentioned my disappointment to the staff, they surprised me by saying they could still make the Eggplant Pesto pizza upon request, even though it's no longer on the menu. I was thrilled! The pizza came out just as delicious as I remembered, and it made my day that they were flexible enough to accommodate the request. If you're craving something a little different, I recommend stopping by and seeing if they can make the Eggplant Pesto for you too. It's a hidden gem, even if it's off the menu!
I recently met a friend here for dinner. We shared a salad and a pizza. Both were tasty, though the Caesar salad hardly had any dressing, which was a bummer. Our server was very nice, but a bit distracted. I think my mom would really like it here, so I plan to bring her in the future.
Great restaurant, great service and great staff! Jhovan and Steven took care of me. The food and service were exceptional! I had a deep dish pizza and it was the best deep dish I have ever had! The ambience and cleanliness are also another thing to note. Family friendly, plenty of parking, nice area overall. A+ restaurant.
I've been coming to Pizza N Such for years and I just wanted to show my appreciation with a kind review. Every time I go there I always get welcomed with amazing customer service. The food is always great and comes out in a timely manner. When we make special request the staff is more than happy to accommodate us. My family has even had birthday parties celebrated there and the service is amazing and keeps us coming back. I would recommend Pizza N Such as great place to sit and eat or even have a drink for any occasion.
I rate these pies 5/10. I ordered a Pepperoni (Model T) and a Cheese Detroit. As far as the style of Detroit pizza, this is a "Detroit" style Detroit pizza vs a "LA" style Detroit Pizza. The crust was a bit inconsistent. Parts of the pie were more dense and bready than other parts. Other parts were light and fluffy. Underproofed? The pepperoni was $6-7 more than the cheese. If you look at my pics, I don't think anyone could really justify the added value there. Despite these criticisms, the pies were more or less enjoyable to eat. The crust near the frico provided glimpses of greatness--the texture and crunch were quite nice. If you enjoyed these pies Fuji & Vi's in Pasadena will probably also be your vibe.
Pizza N Such is unexpectedly nice inside and not what you'd expect out of a pizza joint. It's a pizza parlor for grownups complete with its very own bar. We started with the fries ($7) but cheesy garlic (+$2.50). I love a good garlic fry and these were no exception. The fries remained quite crispy under the weight of cheese. And that house-made ranch was something else. Their rendition of a house salad ($15) is probably my favorite. They swap out some of the usual house salad things ie cheddar cheese and red onions for more fun ingredients like mozzarella! And black olives! This made for a creamy briny time. We also subbed the Italian vinaigrette for their creamy ranch and this was the absolute move. It didn't taste ver salad-y in the best way possible. For our pizza, we chose the great special ($26.50 for a 12". It's their traditional crust topped with house made pizza sauce, Canadian bacon, pepperoni, Italian sausage, black olives, fresh mushrooms, and bell peppers. To be honest, the pizza isn't photogenic. In fact, it looks quite underwhelming. Luckily, looks can be deceiving. The crust had such a good chew with nice crispy undercarriage. I was taken aback at how surprisingly good it tasted. I typically avoid eating the crust but I gobbled this one. The toppings were unapologetically large - giving you the whole supreme experience. If you like a supreme type pizza, this one's for you. Pizza N Such is everything I've been looking for in a pizza parlor.
